Larger fuel tank.

Can you swap the 40 gallon tank from a 3/4 ton to a 1/2 ton? Any mods needed to make it work?

If the 1/2 ton already had a 40 gallon tank, it should be a direct swap. Otherwise, you'll need the straps and rubber also.

Thanks. I have the 32 gal. tank now. Just looking to increase my range. Saw a place selling the 40 gal. tanks for $200 new/referb.

What do you mean "rubber"? Is the pump intank and is it the same on both tanks?

Hoses should be fine, I'm talking about the anti-squeak stips along the top of the tank and between the straps and the tank.
