I have a '99 Nissan Sentra and when I try to start it, it just clicks.. I have tested the batery and all of the connections to the syleniod and starter and have concluded it must be the sylenoid or starter motor. But i can't get the starter out.. I think I have found the correct bolt from the top of the engine.. but i have looked and looked for the second bolt and I can not find it from the top or bottom. I have read some posts on a 93' and a '97 but i am not sure if those teqniques will work for my '99. If someone could give me some information it would be greaty apprecieated. I have been working on this thing for a long **** time.

the bolt is exactly the opposite side as the one you can see.it will be dificult if you have an automatic, but a manual is just right on top. you just need to remove all the intake crap, and there it is,the rest is common sence! if you keep having trouble, holla at me, i have yahoo IM and aol IM. peace out

You might be referring to the flasher relay, the thing that clicks and actually makes the lights on the outside go on and off. In most cars it's usually near, or in the internal fuse box, but check your Chilton's.

first of all, i just replaced my starter 10 minutes ago. Removing the intake in my car would have done nothing to help me so i used a knuckle joint and a long extentsion to get to the top bolt, the bottom was the same way. Before you remove any bolts, disconnect the wiring harness on top of the starter, this sucks trying to get to later on, as does the hot wire going into the back of the starter. After removing both bolts and disconnecting the wires, the starter should slide out towards the passenger side.
