need some B series swap advice

Ok, so on Saturday I go to pick up the swap. (pics will be taken and posted) I am looking for a few things here. The swap is straight out of a '95 Integra, will the engine mounts that the engine has with it fit in my Civic? (I have a '94) It comes with its P/S pump, but no A/C compressor. I have been told the best way to go about this is to disconnect my current A/C compressor from the engine and just push it aside without disconnecting the lines to it. Then reuse the D series compressor on the B series motor. As I understand to do this there is a custom bracket to make it fit correctly. I have not been able to find this. Is this true? If so where can I find this bracket? If this story is not true I have a couple local friends that have B series compressors laying around, but that would mean I would have to have the A/C recharged. Also, will I have to attempt a custom fuel line, or will the line that comes with the Tegs motor fit? Thanks very much for any advice anyone can give me! I am excited to get this swap underway!
BTW: Please, no one give me the line about forget the A/C, who needs it anyway, be tough, etc. my car has nice working A/C as it is right now, and it still will after this swap!

This is an LS swap, correct? Okay, to retain A/C, a bracket from a 94-97 Del Sol Vtec (the Del Sol that came with a B16A) will mount the compressor correctly. You use your a/c compressor. For power sterring, use the 94+ Integra pump and mounting bracket. Use the integra throttle cable as well. The civic's is a bit shorter. For the enigne mounts, stock engine mounts will work, expect for the front stabalizer mount. This requires the 94+ Integra bracket, but uses stock civic rubber. If any of the mounts look worn, cracked etc...just replace them now while everything is out. It will make things a little easier. A long time ago, Honda Tuning had a "hybrid how to" on the LS into a 5th gen civic chassis. If that's indeed the swap you are doing, you can check it out. It really did not say much, but it says a little bit. I don't know if it's really worth tracking down though, not sure how much help it will be.

no sir... this is a b18c does that change things much? they are both b engines so it shouldn't make too much difference i don't think. thanks for the help, every little bit I can get is a good thing!

Are you talking about the main fuel feed line coming off the filter to the rail? I remember after my d to b swap the engine wouldn't start because of it. I had to buy an Si feed line, and new fuel rail nut ($80 or so for both).

yeah thats what I am talking about

I'd buy a Walboro pump while you're at it, to feed the new machine. All the other internal fuel lines between the pump and filter will work just dandy with the B. You may have some exhaust issues too, I'm not too sure how the b18c exhaust mani will bolt up to your old catalytic converter. Hopefully you won't have a headache there because then you'll have to start getting custom welding done to fit the flanges to the piping.

yeah right now I have a high flow cat and a cat back exhaust. if it will fit up correctly as is I will keep the cat and cat back on there. if there are fit issuse I will drive it to a local muffler shop with the cat off and the cat back just hanging there and say connect this manifold to this exhaust pipe please... lol there is no emmisions testing in this area and I already know the shop will make cat replacement pipes, they just cannot actually be the one to remove the cat
the fuel pump is a good idea, esp. since I am considering a turbo set up within a year maybe

groovy..
Really hope everything works out, I know how much of a pain swap problems can be but it feels great in the end when it all comes together.

I don't think it matter for the advice I gave, as far as what is needed to keep the P/S and A/C, the engine mounts, etc.

B18 exhaust will bolt up to your cat, but you have to use the exhaust header from the B18, the D header will not bolt on the B. all civics/tegs have essentually then same exhaust layout, header/cat/midsection in the middle of the car and the rear section going by the rear passenger wheel over the controller arm (i think thats what its called...).
anyway, yeah the B18 header will bolt to your cat- and the fuel pump is really not nec. the honda fuel pumps can handle more than they had to supply with the factory motor, just the motor swap will not be enough to outrun your fuel pump. found that out like 2 days ago while i was looking up about feeding turbo on a civic/teg... did you know that honda makes there injectors to handle ONLY what the motor is capable of (meaning at open throttle they are at 100% duty cycle!!) all other car co. have some leeway. that is why you absolutly can not safely use stock injectors with turbo, or high compression.
anyway, hope that helps some.
*edit*
didn't see were you said you were going turbo... might as well put it in while your at it then!

not going turbo right off the bat... but when the motor needs rebuilt it will be time to beef up the internals then go turbo

So is the swap done and all in your car? I have heard of cases where they have got the stock cat to fit before. Basically, the general rule is header/cat for motor, exhaust for the car. Like I said, I have heard of cases before where the cat on the car has been made to fit, but it's not the most commen thing in the world. How'd it all turn out?

Yea, I bet you can't wait to get it in the car and drive it, lol. That would be really neat if you took posts through the whole process and posted them!!! That sucks though, you gotta let it sit there, looking at you for a month, before you'll have time to put it in the car.
