hey all,
judging by the number of replies here, i'm not sure if anyone reads this introduction stuff, but whatever, here's about me.
i have a couple of oddball british cars which i am building. the first is a 1969 Arkley-bodied Austin Healey Sprite. This will have a 1600 twin cam w/ T50, Toyota setup. A few sound engine mods and this will make a great crossover vehicle. it'll be part; ultra-lightweight Lotus-like sports car, pedigreed vintage British car, tuner car, kit car, and SCCA Solo racer. this will ensure that i will have a large variety of people to hang with and compare notes with.
the second vehicle is a 1954 Austin A40 which will be converted into a flatbed woodie truck. the body will be patterned after actual woodies which were built in England. this one will also be highly modified and will have my fingerprints all over it. both of these cars will have a very mildly modified stock appearance. the A40 will throw me in with the woodie folks and the compact truck crowd. if i'm lucky there wil not be many weekends without something going on. :smokin:
have fun, y'all. Mark B
