93 Integra GS-R idle problem

IMy 93 GS-R won't idle at a steady speed. It keeps jumping up and then dropping off. It jumps up and down all the time. Other than that it runs fine. Anyone have a clue what could be happening?

i had a problem very similar to that with my 93 ls. when i would be at a stop light, my idle would jump up and down until i started moving. for some reason, and im not sure why, the screw on my throttle body for my idle adjust came loose? i played with that for a bit and my idle went back to normal. try that and see if it works.

i had same problem it wasnt the throttle cable it was the screw on the side of the throttlebody i had to take it off to reach it.

My 94 Integra had the same exact problem. I fould out that the sensor on the side of the throttle body was going bad. Mine did that crap for about 8,000 miles before it wen't. When that sensor goes bad, your engine will shut off when you take it out of gear at a light or sit in nutral. unfortunatly you can't just replace the sensor, you have to get a whole new throttle body.

It turns out that the thermo idle valve was bad.
