Service Engine Soon, Ignition Misfire

My "service engine soon" light came on when i started my 98 tahoe (it was like -7f out), the other day. I went to auto zone they pluged the scanner in and said it was an ignition mis fire and cleared it, and told me to ignore it unless it came back. I said ok and went on my way. the next day it came back again (it was like -3f out side) I asume it was the same issue. today it went out and it was like 13 to 20 degrees (at this point that is like sweatshirt weather here, alsmost woth breaking out shorts ).

is there a connection between the temp and the ignition issue? It does take it a few extra cranks on the days that the light has come on to get her going. and is this something that i must do NOW, or can it wait until it's a lil nicer outside. once the truck is going she runs great. I am a bit unfamilire with this truck I bought it like a week or 2 ago, i dont know its quirks yet.
