D Series Question??

I HAVE A 97 D16Y7 BLOCK ,WILL A 91 SI HEAD FROM A D16A6 FIT??? AND HOW ABOUT THE TRANNY WILL IT WORK TOO??? THANK YOU, PLEASE REPLY IF U KNOW WHAT IS INTERCHANGABLE WITH THIS BLOCK!!!! :banghead:

im pretty sure all D series blocks, heads, and trannys are interchangable

As far as I know everything between D series engines in interchangable besides the computers, I wanna know if its possible to put a ZC head on a D15b2 cuz thatd be awesome. I'd like to do that. :iceslolan

If your talking about the DOHC ZC then it cant be done. Thats one of the only Dseries engines that the head cant be swapped cuz its the only dohc dseries out there.

I knew it was but i didnt know if it could be swapped or not, because everyones always like you can interchange any engine parts as long as its the same series. But then again alot of people dont know anything about cars, like the people who pay shops to do everything for them. Just look in Superstreet or anyother magazine. Everyones always thanking shops for "helping" them with their cars. Me and my dad do all the work ourselves. But I am getting my cars body fixed up and painted by someone after i get the stuff i want for the exterior.
