240 trans stuck

I've got a 93 240sx with an auomatic transmission and it sticks in first gear. Sometimes it will come out @ about 5000rpm but other times I have to pull over and turn the car off to reset the computer. Can someone please give me some direction? Also the car has 130,000 miles on it and the tranny was recently rebuilt.
