i wrecked my 95 camaro 3.4 v6 5-speed bout 3-4 hours ago... kinda jumped a ditch and took out some metal poles and a sign. one of my wheels flew off and the front end doesnt look too sexy so if anyone knows where i could get a new rear end that would fit my car and some new fenders and a hood please tell me cause i'd like to fix my car.

try ebay. A couple of weeks ago, i saw a 95 Camaro parts car for $200. had everything you needed.

Dude. Go to a junkyard, check ebay, look in the newspaper ads, go to autotrader.com see if they have anythere.

the junkyard is your friend. probably the only thing that i have dedicated more time to than sifting through junkyards is actually working on my car. find em, learn how to deal with em, and you'll get far in this business we call cars...

Only problem with junkyards is finding a car 25 year old popular car in themhttp://www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/images/smilies/cya.gif (http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/misc.php?do=getsmilies&wysiwyg=1&s=#)

jeezus man, again, how friggin fast were you going????? i nailed a fence head on with a post right to the passenger side of center at around 30-40mph, and my damage was no where near that. i lost a chin spoiler, and a fog light. you must have been cruizin.

man i told the cop 45 and i stick to that (speed limit in the turn is 15) but it was a lil damp and there were some rocks in the middle of the road in the first turn from where ppl had got down and kicked em up so it was like a fine layer and i hit them and felt the rear end kick and my drive inexperiece got me to over correct and i remember looking at the ditch and then i remember watching the sign just explode. my cousin was behind me in his car and he said my rear end went pretty high in the air. but good news.... just called a place and i can get brand new fenders and a hood for 400 and they are gonna check on a front bumper cover for about 150.

wow, so basicly you were racing, or out screwing around when it was damp outside??? well, not to be a dick, but yeah, your driving inexperience showed through on that one. and im willing to bet it was a tad more than 45. glad your ok, glad the camaro is fixable, hope you learned something from it.

I wrecked today, roads were covered in snow, underneath was ice, there's a really steep hill with sharp curves on the way to work, i stopped at the top of the hill to take it as slow as possible, but the speed picked up too much, so i tapped the brakes to slow down, but that just turned me sideways and slid down sideways and slammed into a guardrail, good thing it was there otherwise i woulda been rolling down the hill. The damage was minimal tho, gouged up my wheel wells and scraped up the side moldings.

holly shit gen, glad that guardrail was there for ya. turned out good that the damage was minimal. sorry to hear about it man.

thx, yea it was pretty scary, it's ok tho, it was in the blazer, not the camaro, i don't even like that truck anyway, only got it to make it to work and back alive (need 4x4 cuz i drive 23 miles thru a heavy snow area to get there) I miss my cutty :(

oh ok, just a blazer ppfftttt who cares. lol. even more amazing you didnt go down the hill though, high center of gravity, ive seen the guardrails act like tripwires with big enough trucks, just kinda sweeps the tires out from under em and they flip over and down the hill. what gear were you in? best to use the engine to slow down rather than the brakes, but ya probly know that, so im just being a dick by bringing it up ;)

well, i know, but it happened too quick and i didn't think of it, i didn't know there was all that ice hiding underneath the snow.

alright dealing with my fenders and stuff.... does anyone know about the trim that goes down my door and to the front fender i need to know if i can replace that or what the deal is on that... and i was wondering if a 98+ front bumper cover would fight if i got a new hood with it... just a idea... (my car is a 95)

Genopsyde

it should work

89IROC&RS
01-28-2004, 10:20 PM
the trim can be replaced, it should just be stuck on with adhesive, so you should be able to peel it off, as for the front clip, you could do it, im not sure it would look right, the hood front end idea is square, but im not sure if those line up with the 95 fenders, and if you replace the fenders, im not sure if the new ones will line up with the 95 doors, and if you repla...... you get the idea. id just fix what ya broke. and call it a day.

the front end will work just fine. the hood the the new bumper should bolt right up to the 95 mounting points. everything lines up, assuming there isnt anything wrong with the fenders. ive seen the conversion of a 94 front end to a 98...

i stand corrected, even i get to learn something every once in a while ;)
