'94 S-10 Blazer Keyless Entry

Called my local chevy dealer, they want 82$ for the remote (dropped mine and the bat. clip fell out) and 50$ for programming it. Honestly, to me, it sounds like a pile of crap to charge me $132 for a new keyless remote. This got me curious and on ebay there is a person who sells keyless remotes for specific vehicles, he has a '92 - '96 s-10 blazer remote for 24$, he suggests taking it to my dealer and getting it programmed for free (seems most do). Im hoping someone here has the know-how and could help me out with my problem and explain how I can do this myself.
