I took my dash out but i had no run-ins at having to force anything out or in. Yet after i did this i am unable to get my Air anywhere but to my feet, weather settings are on defroster, strait at me ect it blows at my feet. I know there are 3 long hooks from the back of it that snatch onto something, but i didnt touch anything but what i need to get my dash out of so i must of slipped in the process. Yet i have no idea where they go. Someone please let me know how to fix this, GRRR!!! its winter and when your windows fog up its pretty damn scurrrry! hahaha

I'd be willing to bet that the wires that control the big lever that directs the air have fallen off/broken. If your car has (or had) a/c, under your dash, by the glovebox/center console area, is that air director thingy that pushes air up to the vents, or down to the floor. The other thing is that the wire thing may have fallen off the control side.
You might need a manual or something to get a better picture of where they go, but some of those may be a real pain to get to, I don't know for sure.

not really feedback my brother but i feel your pain ... only mines kinda worse ...
i have ALL my vents stuck open and on fresh air ... which during the summer was kinda cool but then during winter i cant heat up my car or even defrost. So im stuck with leaving my windows open ALL night during the winter so i can defrost them. sucks.
now to make it worse, tail end of last winter i drove it up to oregon. with snow on the side of the road and everything. Thank god i had worn two socks, an extra sweater, and gloves cause i couldnt move my legs when i got outa the car at ami's place. that was some serious frickin cold.
anyways reason im posting is becuase if you cant end up fixing it yourself please please please tell me what it cost you to fix cause then i know what to tell my mechanic so they can fix it.
