Buying an engine on-line?

I'm planning on swapping a b16a in my CRX, and I was looking at this site: hondamotorsonline (http://www.hondamotorsonline.com/shop/sc2000search.cgi?what=page&item=B16A%20Sir1%20Complete%20Change%20Over) I was wondering if anyone else had any good sites to buy a b16a from?

Thanks for the warning. I won't buy from them now. But where am I gonna buy the rest of the stuff (axles, motor mounts, etc..) since the crap place said that their package came with all the necessary parts, now i need to find where to buy all the other parts.

Well I bought my b16 from steve and had no problems at all. Go figure.:) But for the b16 you can't use the mounts anyway.:(

Now I'm not sure whether to buy from them or not. Besides needing different motor mounts, what else did you have to buy seperatly? (I'm assuming you got the B16A Sir1 Complete Change Over)

You will need:

mount kit-Hasport, HCP, place racing
shift linkage- HCP, HAsport, place racing or make your own
upper and lower radiator hoses
throttle cable
check out www.hasport for more info<-great site:)

optional items:

clutch
timing belt
water pump
cap and rotor
plugs and wires
thermostat
misc gaskets and seals

I didn't get the motor yet so I didn't have any problems ordering it and getting it shipped. I will take some pics and post some more info when I get the motor in my garage.:)

Let me let you in on something. Someone will have something bad to say about alot of places, so you can only research as much as possible and then make your decision.

I have heard people that were completely satisfied with steve and his business so who knows.

My friend bought a zc from them and it was the dirtiest and most beat up thing I have ever seen. When we finally cleaned it up and replaced some parts it ran but it looked like shit when it was delivered. Just my 2 cents.........again.:D
