slow accell./ stall when engine warm

Hi,
I have a '95 Jette III GL w/ 99k mi. I did some tune-up on it this weekend, and replaced the dist. cap / rotor and air filter (I didn't have time to do plugs and cables. While I was working on it, I stupidly tore the breather tube assy., and replaced that. Now, while the engine's cold, it runs fine. After the engine gets up to operating temp, the acceleration is VERY poor, and it will easily stall out if I push on the gas too hard, regardless of the gear. It may not be related, but the engine has been sputtering just slightly lately (past month or so) when it's first started. Any ideas??? Can I get the computer diagnostic myself anywhere instead of taking it to the dealer?
Thanks in advance,
Brad

Ignition coil failure is a classic on your car. Try spraying the coil with water and see if it starts arcing. Otherwise, see if it has any check engine codes.
