how to disable locks

hey does anyone know how to disable the locks that activate the minute you start the 99 model? this is annoying since the keys have been accidentally locked in twice now. it would be different if the locks activated upon shifting but the second you turn the key *click* they're locked.

There seems to be a problem, my 2000 Caravan only locks the doors at approx 15 mph..yours should be the same, you can disable this feature and it is in the "Owners Manual" that should be with your van... 1.Close all doors, 2. Put key in ignition, Turn ignition key between the off and on position "FOUR" times ending in the off position (do not start the engine), 3. Press the drivers door power lock button to lock the doors, you will hear a single chime when programming is complete. This feature works to set or unset auto door locks.

Will this work on the 97 Voyagers? Thanks
