bmw 1 series

Does anyone have any info about the new 1 series? I know it's past concept phase but stll bmw has put out very little information on it, esp. engine displacement and other details...

Well it will have all the power plants the 3 series has so 1600cc, 1800cc, 2000cc and posibly 2500cc. There are also rumors that BMW will get back into turbo charged 4 cylinders. The M version will get about 250-300hp from what i know

I highly doubt there will be a turbo bmw anytime soon. There will probably be no M1 (name already used by the famous origional M car), but there is supposed to be an M2, which is based off of the 2 series (2 door version of the 1 series).

The iDrive will be optional(Just like it's necessary at all) and the engine displacements will range from 1.6L(4 inline) to 2.5L(6 inline) as indicated above by molina aitor. PLUS, the most important is the fact that it's one of the most hideous looking cars I've ever seen.Once again, it's Bangled. In other words, Chris Bangle has done it yet again :banghead:
