What do you guys think of the new generation corvette C6? i love the look of it. most people dont like the fact that the headlights are not hide-away, but i really like them. they make it look more clean and more of a threat. and the engine, drool.

yes, the new corvette almost has it all. looks and performance. the only thing it doesnt have and never will have, is the elegance of a european car (namely ferrari).

I like the vettes headlights but im a bit pressed on the way they got that design. They could have been a bit more origional. It's no secret the C6's concept sketches look damn near that of a Modena.

This sounds like it going to start somthing..........Definately should of thought about this one before saying it. I'll just hold in my retorts for now, seeming your only being your typical self...

The C6 also doesn't cost 150k+ like a ferrari, but its a big improvment from the C5 (especially the interior).

Anyways, back to the topic...

Only thing I don't like about the C6 is the front - specifically the slits or bars that come down in the rad opening (nasty). Besides that it looks very sleek, and I'm actually impressed at how well the squared up lines look compared to the overlly curvey C5 (which I considered to be the ultimate Vette design to date).

And I also beg to differ with freak1187 - with the introduction of the C5 back in '97, Corvette for the first time (in my opinion) became a true world exotic sports car. Of course its no Farrari (original statement was tacky) but if GM ever took $150k+ to hand build a supercar then we would have a good comparo (and it would probably look a hell of a lot better and out perform most/all Euro-exotics - much like the Ford GT is doing now).
