way too many sub-forums

My suggestion is to merge as many of your sub-forums as possible.
The way you have things formatted now makes it way to difficult to find anything, especially if you are looking for something "not-so-specific".
Also, for true car enthusiasts, not just those who are interested in the car(s) they own, there is way too many forums to browse through.
I visit several other forums on other topics, most using the same forum format and "software" that this one does. This one is by far the most confusing and hardest to find information from.

Things have been the way they are for quite some time. There are many subforums because there are many branches and such that deal with specific things whether they be discussion, technical or mechanical. Things are confusing to you at the moment because you are just now a member, and have yet to get used to the format of the website. We recieve very few, if any at all, complaints about this, and they are usually from new users such as yourself who dont yet know their way around. Give it time, and you will be fine and the subforums wont bother you a bit.
