Hey guys,
I am new to AF but not to Hondas... I was taking my pinstripe off the other day and listening to the CD player. I look and see that it is time for me to leave for work. I turn my car off and go in my house and get my name tag. I come back out start up my car and my CD player says P-E-0. I look in my manual and it says that the error means that it had trouble reding the disc and to eject the disc and make sure it is clean and not scratched.... it is a brand new CD...clean,too. I try other CD's and it doesn't work. the manual says to contact the dealer if problem continues. If worse comes to worse I am not going to buy a factory player, they will rip me a new one. Has anyone else had this problem? Any Ideas on what might be a quick fix?
PLease help! I need my Rock and Roll!

My friend had this problem... Solution... buy new CD player. No one could ever find out how to solve the problem so he just sucked it up and bought an aftermarket cd player for like 200 dollars. It sounded better than the factory.
One alst shot you might want to try is to reset your radio and ecu. unplug the negative of your battery, bush your brake pedal in until the brake light is out (all electricity is out of the car), and then reconnect everything. Make sure you have your radio code before you do this though.
Good luck.

also, try cleaning your lens on your CD player. Go to a Best buy or circuit city and buy a cd player lenses cleaning kit. All this is , is a Cd with a tiny little brush on it. You pop it in the CD player and "walla" your shit is cleaner. Its brushes the dust off the player's lense. Thats probably why it cant read a regular cd. Shit man, it only costs bout $10-$20. Give it a try. If that don't work, try what ArideII said.

Guys....
I really need help now. I disconnected my battery and I connected it after letting it sit for 15 minutes. I got in my car and tried to enter my code and the code on my card isn't working! Has anyone else had this dilemma? Please Help me! ANY feedback will be greatly appreciated.

Many times Honda conveniently places the code to your stereo on a white sticker on the side of the Glove box( once you open it you can see it) or somewhere inside your center console (on the inside roof of the armrest or on the wall of the big compartment). Look here and see if there is a different code to your stereo and try it. Otherwise you gotta call Honda to get it.
This way a thief can get your security protected stereo and then the security code :banghead:

Should be a 5 digit code.

UPDATE!!!:
Well guys, I found another card in my glove box and it had another 5 digit code on it.....so I plugged in the numbers and it works!!!!!!!!! The Radio at least. The CD player is still jacked up. I am going to take it to the dealer when I take it in for the ignition recall.
