:uhoh:Anybody here done a tranny drop on a 91 cavy? I have to replace the flywheel and several people told me to drop the tranny as opposed to pulling the motor.....

I just bought a 5-speed 95 two weeks ago and changed the clutch a week ago. I know its a different body style and all but I ended up dropping the trans, but it kept getting stuck on the unibody. This job was a bitch and a half and took me about 8 hrs. Your case might be different but I think it would have been harder to pull the motor. Try dropping it.

for the 91 its not hard to drop just the trans. Expecially if its a stick, they are smaller and lighter then the automatic. either way they both come out from the bottom.
