What would you choose and why? Think about it considering capable mods, fuel, insurance, handling etc.

Thanx in advance Bean:bandit:

the only thing the celica would have to tempt me is awd......that is one nice ass car to be honest, it does look too old.....

what are you gonna use the car for? that would help definately.....

As a daily driver. But as I live in Downtown Zurich (about 300k inhabitants) I don't use it to go shoping rather have a sporty trip to the alpes or to a friend. Point is, I like sporty cars - am a sporty driver (what ever that means) - and want to mod the car in looks and performance.
Was this any help?!?:bandit:

not really, alpes? im sure awd would be great in your area.....buuuut ive already voted 200sx...so i guess it comes down what YOU like best as far as creature comforts and looks (and your opinion is only valid as long it is in favor of the sx :p )

what year did the 300ZX come out? I think it would be a better comparison between the celica and the 300ZX:bandit:

in that comparison, id go with the Z....

...as for common mods i cant think of anything really special to either cars, so id just go for your basic stuff......start with suspension work, move on to I/H/E, god, i cant remember if the all-trac is turbo or not, so i cant really go any further......

also, im in the US, is the SX turbo too? Dont know about the euro's version, but they usually get better stuff than us.....i think an SR20DE or DET will fit in the 200sx, if not get a 240sx, and try to get that swap (about 3k) before all the riceboys get to it, its a growing trend over here inspired by initial D, everyones buying up all the SX's which is bad for me......

Well looks like I have to specify even more.

Toyota Celica AllTrac(GT-4):
2.0l 16V turbocharged to ~204bhp/200lb.ft

Nissan 200SX Turbo:
1.8l 16V turbocharged to ~170bhp
2.0l 16V turbocharged to ~200bhp

The ZX would be a real nice car but I can't afford it (3.0l) too high on insurance here:bandit:

A guy renting a room from me has an S13 Silvia which is simular to the 200SX. It has an SR20DET motor in it and with only a front mount intercooler and 14 psi of boost has run 13.3 secs @ 103 mph at the drags. The performance is there.

A quick note is Nissan always underates their cars power. Tony's car has over 200hp at the wheels already and because it is light weight goes really well.

I voted the 200SX.
