lotus elise = celica-GTS...

on a 2003 lotus Elise it has a Celica-GTS engine in it. i want to crank out more power from it or get an engine swap. can someone plz help me on what i should do or tell me an engine that would fit in a 03 lotus elise. i know that lotus elise's were made to be light but i just want more power heh so plz help me

isnt there a lotus section on this website? i think they would know more about engine swaps and what would fit in the elise than in the celica forum

yeah i asked them but they didn't say much.
im leaning twords keeping the engine but i need to know what i can do to a celica engine and what i should do so if you know tell me plz :-D

well there actually isnt that much that you can do to the engine...it is hard to turbo charge cause of its high compression ratio... especially the gts so i dont know what you can do to the engine other than small upgrades... it is even hard to put a super charger on that engine i believe but they have some i think, so u might want to look into that
