How much money are you looking at spending? That should be the starting point.

That is a great thing to start with, how much money you wanna spend?

If you got it, i'd say slap a turbo on an tune the hell out of it.

I sh!t you guys not the other day at my local track a 00' civic dx pulled up an ran a 12.7 :eek2: on slicks.Everyone was in shock. He only ran once that night an we ran into him in the parking lot leaving. He poped his hood and it was the stock motor turbo'd. All he told us was that he's running on 9lbs of boost :eek2: but didn't tell us his internals.I had a friend confirm he is boostin only 9lbs but thats all i kno about the car.The guy that tuned his car told me the guy spent 5g's, not including the price of the turbo kit on his car. 1.5 SOHC non-vtec turbo running 12's.............................amazing.

actually, even replacing a working cat with a new cat is illegal. and most high flow cats are just race pipes, and contain no catalysts. they do not take out any hydrocarbons/CO/NO., and so would fail a emissions test horribly.

any amount of money
ANY amount??
Okay, buy a GSR engine swap, install a Turbonetics kit on that, buy forged internals and lower the compression, get it sleeved, run a 150 shot of nitrous as well, and you'll be running 10's. How's that? Or better yet, since you have all the money in the world, how bout you buy a nicer car to begin with than a sohc non-vtec Civic? btw "racing" cams on a Civic sure will add some power, and the rough idle will give you a nice back massage too while waiting at red lights..

well yea swap would be first step if youve got dough. and a CAM would help a bit for an auto. if you wanta keep an auto you get get a high stall converter for lil better pick up*gwad i feel like i'm in the stang forums talking bout tourqe converters*

I look at it like this, if you answer with "any amount of money" then you are probably not serous about any mods like this and you are wasting people's time. :2cents:

If you have an auto don't do anything to the engine. You'll soon find out it's a waste of money (even though you have plenty of it)
