Top speeds

goodness some people get alittle bent out of shape when you get alittle off a subject. i think it has to do with the fact that they where not envolved with the conversation.

look the girl is rigth i have a GS and i did 135 mph with it. The GSX should do at least 140 becuse my firend has a talon tsi and he can get it up to 150 stock.

Here is the thing, here are two people who have been in/driving the car when it has done 135mph. And then there are people who know what the car has, and what is in it.. and do not agree. But none of these people have tried it. They just know what they know and that makes the people who have done it wrong for some odd reason. Now come on common sense tells you what is really going on here. I don't plays those types of games!!!

Oh yeah, and the 135 thing. That's what the spedometer might read but it is not how fast the car is traveling. The spedometer is inaccurate. Different tires, rims, etc. throw off the spedometer not to mention that it is just inaccurate from the factory especially at high speeds.

'97 Spyder GS - Topped out at 130mph. Mind you the Spyder GS has a 4g64 and not the 420a, though that shouldn't make a difference to a speed limiter. You also have to consider inaccuracies as was said before.

Hey I am well aware that girls are evil, But there are a few out there that do not there man to spend money on them. Yes it is nice but it is not necessary.. But also this brings up a good point.. If girls require money and the root of money is evil.. Then why is it almost every guy has a female in there life?? You all must love having evil things in your life!!!

I don't believe that your boyfriend's GS can go 135 stock. Sorry.

For reference, the 420A in my old neon was supposed to be 132hp and it did 117 with a little left in it.. so id estimate 120. GS with 140hp wont beat that by much.

When my gs was stock, I was hitting 140 with my system and two other people in the car with me.

140 with my 97' gs-t spyder stock

on my 98 gs i got it to 140 going to el paso when my governer kicked in belive it or not. it prolly got there b/c i have an upgraded comp. chip

ok now i have gone 135 in my 1997 rs with my system and all and I understand that the speedo does get innacurrate but how innacurate could it be. I also have seen my rev limiter kick in but no gov. on speed yet. So thats just me with I/H/E.

i drive an eclipse RS and my top speed was 135 stock...i didnt get there really fast but dammit i got there.
