No matter what I do I can't make this car idle right. I changed the trottle body, IAC, and TPS hoping that might do something butt, NO. I'm new to the TPI's so I'm woundering what I shoud do next?
I live in CT. so its bite ass cold here (no garage) so i'm just tring to make it to spring right now. Then I can do the major overhals.
If you got ANY ideas let me know. I'll try pretty much anything.
THANKS!!!

sounds to me like it's misfiring, maybe you have fouled plug, also, as everyone else here will say, check it for computer trouble codes, if you don't know how, ask and we'll tell, also, i recommend getting a haynes repair manual for your car, it has a troubleshooting section that will probable pinpoint your problem and will also help you with future problems as well.

like genopsyde said, check for codes, before you do anything. also, i agree sounds like you need a tune up, could be a burnt wire, could be carbon tracking in the rotor, could be air filters are clogged, fuel filter could be clogged. could be your ICM. its most probly an ignition deal from what youve said so far. but i cant be certain. could also be a bad MAF sensor. but this is all guesswork, kinda like alist of things to check. rather than all the things to repair or replace.

4 months ago I gave it a full tune up I changed fuel filter, all pluges, all wires, air filters, cap, and rotor. I also drown the air intake with carb/thottlebody cleaner.
Do you think something could of went bad?
I know anything is posable.
In the spring I plan on tearing the hole intake off and go through it and clean everything. Replace everything that needed???????????????

well in that case, youve kinda ruled out anything mechanical, so its probly a computer problem. sounds like the ICM could be bad. or the HEI controler in the distributor could be bad. no way to tell you without codes or actual hands on diagnostic work.

I have 2 codes coming up. 1 is something wrong with the speedsencer that because its not hooked up. 2 is something wrong with the exhaust.
Now i know people say that when the o2 sencer is bad then it will make the car run like shit but really will it make it run that bad?

could be a collapsed cat. if your catalytic converter goes bad, it restricts exhaust, and creates a whole helluva lot of backpressure. making the car run like a turd, didnt even think of that, but now i think thats your problem. could be the O2 sensor, but the cat is more likely.

You should replace your speed engine speed sensor first, but the main problem is the O2,and you better chage it really fast (its cheap-$20) or this might lead to some serios consequences like a melted cat which costs around $250 to replace. A faulty O2 sens. can influence on drivability of the car, but not as much as the cat /it would run even worse then shit/ Also check if your cat makes noise or its extremelly hot, then for gas mileage and dirty engine oil-those are the symptomes for a bad cat.
