oh guys, on a completely different note. Chassis 024R is not sold. I'll try to find the original thread.

I think its very possible pic 4 could be #11R. I've just been looking pics of #11R and 'M66 MCL' for about 20 mins and everything looks exactly the same - how the body kit isn't on the door, the exhaust, the brakes, the color, interior...everything looks very similar.

for some reason i was under the impression that 011R wasn't street legal

The part that doesn't match #11R though are those little trim pieces that border the wheels and the fact that #11R had a roof scoop.
I'm more than fairly confident that the GTR owned by Meissner is #11R, and if you compare photos of that car to this single shot of the mystery orange GTR, there are a few differences. Until we get more photos of that car, or get a shot of the chassis number in Meissner's I doubt anyone can ever say conclusively one way or the other without some more insider info.

Thanks man. :)
Working there would be incredible. I'm not sure my skillset really falls within any of the areas they are looking for. Getting up in the morning and heading to the MTC would certainly put a smile on my face though, I can tell you that.
Of course the grass always looks greener... ;) And I probably wouldn't be able to share any of the inside info any longer. :( But I'd wash Gordon and Ron's cars on a weekly basis or mop the floor in the production areas if it could pay the bills. :naughty:

:nono: Trust me - you'd be surprised how green the grass isn't. Small company plus very high profile do not a stress-free work life make.

Peloton, you're much too qualified for that. It didn't look like a very good place to work when I was there--in fact, I got the same impression at the Ducati and Ferrari factories. If someone is just starting off on a career, it might be good to put in a stint so you have it on your resume. Otherwise, I'd suggest becoming a supplier and forging relationships so you can have "access" to the people or facilities, or at least have bragging rights.
But working there, and dreaming of mopping the floors or washing Ron Dennis' car? Per Bernoulli/Yoda: Self-respect, maintain. Stay away, you must. :)

when i'll have to do an internship, i'm sure to write them a letter though. Good for on the resume, and getting my copy of DA signed. :d
