2000 sierra single cab bagged or lower

Yea well thinking about lowering my 2000 sierra single cab , should i just lower it with out air or would bagging it be better, has anyone out there bagged a single cab sierra, what was the steps, and if anyone lowered one what was the steps, and is there anything else i should do throw me a line, it has silver flake paint job, on 17s for now till i find some 20 i like, i will get some pics soon
