Hey, I saw this in a magazine and was wondering what is the difference between a conventional oil system to the dry sump one.
Is it for drag racing or road courses? Pros & Cons?
Also Im interested in a turbocharged motor soon so will this be good?

Thanks

There are more difference between wet & dry sump oil systmes than I feel like typing. Basically your biggest advantage with dry sump is that there is no oil in a oil pan, it's all in an external tank pumped into the engine. This allows the engine to have less drag(more power) and provide max oil pressure no matter what gravity is doing. It's not very cheap & only serious racers should use a dry sump.
