ef9 subframe

am in need of some help, i've been trying to get hold of a civic ef9 front subframe and have had no luck so am posting this in hoping that some could help me out.

yeh i've phoned round all the salvage places, but none of them seems to have my car, i think the only real chance of me getting it is to find someone in the u.s or japan to send it over.

We get a lot of front cuts here (Australia) with the subframe so they can be sourced.

Note: they only fit EE8/EF8/EE9/EF9s, not the other series of EFs/EDs/EEs. Moppie did some test work with his subframe before his SiR was totalled and I can't use ED parts on my EF9.

will the crx ef8 subframe fit onto a civic ef9?

yes - the EF8/9 and EE8/9 are totally different to all the other 4th gens from the firewall forward.

subframe is the crossmembers - not the body panels :?

The front subframe is EXACTLY and I mean EXACTLY the same as the same year Xsi Integra.
Thats the front cross members, and brace that runs under the engine.

There are very few EF9/8 frames around, most are shipped straight out of NZ as complete front cuts, and from talking to a few people I believe mine went straight to the states, as it was the only salvagable part on the car.

And of course if you find a wrecked EE9 or EE8 (VTi) its the same, but they are very rare cars.
