alright.....I think it's time for me to get the camber kit.

I've learned the purpose of a camber kit, but I actually have no idea

where it should locate. Can anyone explain to me? And do I need to

take out my spring/shocks when installing them? Is it harder than

install lower spring and shocks. Cuz...I hope I'll be able to install them

myself too.

i like that rear setup. did you have to use a camber kit for the front or is there a way to use bolts and washers in the front too? Just curious. Any place i can save money is good.

so....I do need to remove my springs/shocks to install them, right?

And for the rear, the things I need are four 10x1.25 45 mm bolts and washers? that's all? I lowerd my car with prokit, and it lowered my car like 1.3. So how many washers do I need? two?

no you dont need to remove your spring/shocks to install your camber kit but you will need an alignment right away. yes thats all you need for the rear i used two washers for my rear camber adjustment and im on sportlines so one may suffice for you but you have to check it

That is the fun part of the washer trick you may save money, on not getting a rear camber kit, but when you take it for an alignment most places will complain or charge you more because they have to add washers or remove them to get the camber corrected, it is not an exact science. You can find a rear camber kit for 120$ I would do it.

If you are strapped for cash then fine the washers will work

Most places will charge you an hourly rate if you have a modified suspension, expect anywhere from 80$ to 190$

Full alignment runs between $40-50. Unless your place has a lifetime alignment plan for $99.95 or so then I would get that plan. :) It allows you 2 alignment checks per year for as long as you own your vehicle. :cool: :)

i got my alingment for 70$ he said it was gonna be 27$ a side to add more shims since i didn't have enough, so i had to go home and put more shims in then come back. (i used the washer method from that guys website) i bought a specialty products company adjustable camber kit for the front of my car and he didn't have to adjust it at all. i put it in the most correction place on it when i put it in, and my alignment print out said -0.1 on the left, and 0.0 on the right he never touched the camber kit. hahaha lucky guess for me.
