1.8t turbo

my dad has a 97 A4 1.8t and the turbo went on it is there. any good aftermarket turbos out there? where can i go on the web to find them? any info. thanks

your dad should see if audi will do anything for him before you look into aftermarket turbos

..what exactly is audi going to do for him? the car is 7 years old.. audi could care less...

the simplest turbo upgrade is the k04... it uses the stock manifold... a software upgrade is needed..and besides a few other little things..thats about it.. I believe AWE Tuning is have a nice group buy on their kits.. check out the b5 forum in www.audizine.com

we were going to get a bigger turbo anyway now we just need one sooner. its kind anoying b/c the guy we got it from said the engine was new this turbo was is'nt the 1st to go i mean its a pretty good car but i think the last onwer wasnt telling the whole truth or something about the engine maybe he got a new tune-up before selling it to us but i cannt beleave a new engine
