hub compatability

i have an 02 Lanos hatch and i want to put 17x7's on it. the rims are the correct lug pattern, but my hubs have no bolts to mount them onto, because the stock rims mount by means of screw-in type lug nuts. i think i need an adapter that will accept just plain nut type lugs. where do i get them?

The shop selling you the wheels should have provided you with the correct hardware that matches the wheels and the car. Check with them or the wheel maker to see what hardware works safely.

i forgot to say that im buying them off of a friend who has a 90 accord....

If they are factory wheels on a Honda now, there's no way they will fit safely. The Accord has a 1-114.3mm bolt circle an your car is a 4-100mm. They may work if it's an aftermarket wheel with multiple bolt circles and the correct center rings. The big problem is going to be the center bore. The hole in the back of the Honda wheels is going to be almost a full 1/2" larger than your hub. The wheels need to center on the hubs, not just the lugs (this is called hub-centric). It can cause not only vibration, but also lug/wheel failure. The 'nose' of the axle has to fit snug inside the back of the wheel's centerbore.
