Take it from experiance. unless there's a bolt in kit from some company your better off getting your own mesurements. Theres alot of things to consider one is head room if you have a 6 point cage and you don't measure and hard turn your gonna smack your head into a bar If your Tall. Also Do you want to cage your seats? If you want to properly use a 5point harness instead of stock seat belts your gonna need a crossbar to tie them into also caging your seats means if you have a horrendous accident the causes the care to come apart your safe due to the fact your connected to the cage.

From my understanding a role cage further strengthen the chassis of the vehicle by providing support to the cockpit shell. A role cage is usually costume build to the specs of the driver (height, leg room… etc). It’s a simple really ones you’ve seen one, you can figure it out, if you have no moon roof then it is even simpler.
As far as blueprints concern I have no idea were to fined some, I just know that some shops do them relying on the visual appearance of the cockpit.
Check out monkey cage I remember reading about it somewhere?
Hope I helped!!!
Good luck!
