can i do it??

I wanna swap a b16 in to my 93 civic ex .. i wanna hit 14 so if i have 1000 bucks after the swap what could i do? .. i already have an exaust and aem cai ... also is this somethin i can do on my own, the swap .. i will be taken automotive classes in college so i assume i could after those.

Yeah it's definitely do-able. The swap itself is fairly simple, unless your getting axles. Other than that, I'd say the wiring and shift linkage are the hardest parts of the swap. Yeah, you can definitely hit 14's with a B16 in a 5th gen. You should actually run about a 14.9 with just the swap. Add a skunk2 intake manifold, type-r header, HKS hiper exhaust, (there goes all your money) and you'll be runnin mid 14's easy.
