Caron Fiber Hood?

I was thinking about gettin this hood. I need an opinion on how you think it would look on a 99 silver gp.

It might look ok. I thinkt the lighter the color of the car the worse it will look.

That hood will be on my car as soon as the ins. check comes back for the hail damage.

I was wondering the same thing about my GTP. It is your typical GM bright red color. I have carbon fiber tail lights and I am definitely going to put a ram air hood on it. Although I'm wondering if a carbon fiber hood will look ridiculous against the bright red color. Any opinions? What about a normal hood painted black? One problem is that I have the gold cross-lace wheels and I don't know if anything other than a bright red hood would look right with them.

I personally like carbon fiber hoods, and I think they add a lot to any car. I haven't ever seen one on a Grand Prix, but I have yet to see one on any other car that I didn't think looked good, regardless of color.

The stock hood painted black might look a little hoaky though. If I ever saw something like that, my first reaction would be that the owner wrecked the car, then had to go to the junk yard and swipe a hood from a different color car. :loser:

Thanks for your opinion DarkTint. I got the idea because I had seen it other cars (there's a yellow souped up 2004 cavalier on eBay right now). And its common on musclecars with hood scoops like Dodge Superbees. But its good to hear that it might look out of place on a GP. Thanks.

Yeah that hood IS sweet and is also available for the 04. Definitely the one I want...

Here's a link to the G8, the first Grand Prix I ever drooled over. I still love this hood, and think it would look great on my black GP (possibly in carbon fiber????):

Here's another picture of the same car, but with a different hood. I love the stance of this car with its fender flairs and deep dish wheels. I'm not crazy about this hood though...
