Enkei RS6 is my choice. I'm not a real big fan of 5 spokes, I'd prefer 6, 7 or 8 spokes...Just me.

I'm going to get some rims soon too. I had the RS6 in one of my choices. But I think I'm going to settle with a design similar to the Motegi MR7's. Or if I can find a better set of wheels...especially if its lighter. I'm still also trying to decide if I'm going with 15"s or 16"s.

Yea the MR7s are also in my pick but...everyone is either getting them or flaming them they are fuckin heavy

I wish they were lighter
Although I know of 2 people around here that are about to get them so....

Those holes look really good in 17 also let me see if I can find a car with 17" holes

How heavy are the MR7's anyway? I like the simple design of it...but if its that heavy then maybe I should start looking at different wheels.

oh well you see this is my first car and I just want to have a very reliable every day driver. I have big plans but it's going to be mainly show. I have on VERY big deciding factor. I'm trying to decide if I want to go with air suspension or not. If I do air because of all the added weight it will be a show car but if not then I might make it a bit fast. Thoughts?

I'm not too familiar with air suspensions so i cant help you there.
Just did some searching, The Notegi MR7's are heavy...20 pounds for 16"s. I might decide on Motegi FF6, 16 pounds. Unless you can suggest some other lighter wheels.

20 lbs!?! Using the general rule of thumb (1lb of unsprung weight = 8lbs of sprung weight) that is like adding 640lbs to your car with wheels alone!! I am not sure what stock wheels weigh on our civic but man that is a lot of weight. There are a lot of lighter wheels out there but they will run you like $1200 with tires if youre lucky. Check out Centerline, OZ Racing, or 5Zigen for some more reasonable weights. They all have wheels that get to around 13 lbs for 17's. Compare those 416lbs to the others at 640lbs...
Not only do heavier wheels destroy your gas mileage, acceleration and braking distances but they will just be harder in general on all your suspension components.
Its all about money though how much can you spend

I did some searching again...and the stock replica of the steelies (i think that was the 14") was about 20 pounds so if I go with the Motegi FF6, its gona be 4 pounds lighter with each wheel (I think am going with 16"s).

Mugen RG, if you can find a set. I have them on my car, and I like it very much.

Just got them this month, secondhand (it previously was on a Civic hatch that the owner's going to sell, so he's putting it back to stock). How it looks on my car:

yeah 35lbs for 18s with tires is pretty good. that is about 15lbs per wheel. Not bad although if you are putting 18s on a car it is obviously not about performance beciause you aren't gonna get it with 18s.

hrmm....hey jrv221982....you got any pics?
pm me with some instant messenger details...I would like to see how this looks. Because if I go with air then I don't care about performance any more because of the added weight (how much weight does it actually add, it might not be too much over so that it could still have some umph)
If it adds so much that performance isn't really an option anymore then I'll be going with 18s probably (19s on a civic seem rather large but who knows get me some pics JRV and we'll see) but if some performance -can still be there I'll stay with 17s...get back with me
thanks for alll the replies

I can just say that go with what you feel most comfortable with so that you wont have any regrets.

weird from any angle is more like it. most wheels that stick out beyond the lip are just ugly in my opinion, and this includes the MR7s. they make your car look cheesy. the RS6 is my least favorite wheel of all time. I'd rather have that 3 spoke ultra wheels than the RS6.
wheels, most of the time, tie together the exterior of your car.. try to find something that matches the accents on the body of your car, and then look for that in the design of the wheel.
Ggames was my choice. Aren't they made by Rays?

Well my car is black and IMO (and many other people) a black with with black wheels with a polished lip always look BADASS but it's still between the Holes and the Wolf

If you get them in that gunmetal/black opal color (whatever the hell it is) I say Konig Holes. These will look the best on your car guarenteed. I have gunmetal wheels on a black civic and everyone nuts over my wheels.
