Ok to refresh everyone's memory I am having problems starting my blazer, a 1996 Blazer Vin W.
The problem is that my car starts right up after sitting all night or after running it and only leaving it for a few minutes but if I start it and then try to restart it 2 hours later it hard starts. Takes at least 10secs to start.
The CPI unit was replaced and the fuel tank was replaced but not the fuel pump.
I have noticed that sometimes the service engine soon light comes on when I turn the ignition to the on postion and sometimes it doesn't. I have also noticed that sometimes when I turn the key on the fuel pump relay clicks and sometimes it doesn't. It seemed like when it didn't click it started right up and then stalled.
I, as well as my dealership, are open to any suggestions.

I'm certainly no expert but based on my experience, I'd suspect the fuel pump. I had a '97 Olds that would start fine when cold. But if it was warm, it started hard (cranked for 5-10 secs before firing up). It gradually got worse as time went on. Replaced the fuel pump and everything was fine. Like I said, I'm no expert but that was my experience.
