I just come across this ZC engine (according to the owner) and just checking things to make sure i found the correct engine for 89 hf and this is what i found:
dohc design, black valve cover with the cover bolts in the middle (opposed to what i know for the correct zc for my car, the cover bolts should be on the front and back edges of the valve cover), and also the Honda symbol was on the intake side of the valve cover. I tried to check on the block for the ZC stamp or the year of the engine, there was nothing written, the owner couldn't really be that much help either.
While looking through the wiring harnesses, i found the ecu which was PG7.
Don't know, do you think this is an integra engine or what do you think?
One more question how can you tell if an ecu is automatic or manual?

def. an integra motor, don't even mess with it. i don't think you can tell if the ecu is auto or manual. does the owner still have a tranny with it?
