Hello. I need some help from you smart accord owners. I have a 91 Accord with Eibach Sportlines on Stock shocks. I'm thinking of getting H&R 1.75" springs with Bilstein shocks or the Eibach Pro kit with the same shocks. Does the Pro kit look dropped or is it not noticable. Does anyone have pictures? What do you recommend. Should I get the H&R with Bilstein or the Eibach Pro kit? Keep in mind that I have an Erebuni kit all over the car. I also want a pretty comfortable ride cause I bottom out pretty hard right now. THanks

Stay on the sportlines & go with some Koni yellow struts. I personally don't like sportlines but with aftermarket struts the ride quality will be ten times better than it is now. Judging by your post it seems your concerned with how low it looks, so I would suggest H&R's - quality, lower, cheaper than the Pro-kit. Although the Pro kit is still nice . . .

How much are koni yellows? Are they expensive?, if they are should I get either KYB AGX or Bilsteins? Will KYB AGX"S last, cause I'm scared that the switching of levels on the shock may wear it out. I dont mind switching the Sportlines for the H&R's. Is that ok. What is better cause I've had my sportlines for 2 years already. Also, the Pro Kit wont drop as low as the H&R correct? Do you have a 4th generation accord? Hey, thanks so much for your time and help in this matter.

Koni yellow is one of your finest struts available & about $150 each. I have the Eibach Pro Kit & KYB AGX's on my 91 civic si and I am very happy, although it could be better but for the money spent it can't be beat. My AGX's have lasted so far 40K miles. IMO adjustable shocks/struts is the only way to go when lowering so you have some tuning of the ride. AGX's will last a while if not lowered more than 2" & soft settings are used mostly. As long as you don't leave them on the stiffest(race) setting you should be fine, I don't see how anybody could drive on the stiffest setting for long periods of time but that's what will tear 'em up. With any new adjustable strut and springs you should leave them on the softest setting for the first 500-750miles until your suspension has "settled". The main reason why KYB's & Tokico's don't last & don't perform well is because they are a stock length struts used with too much lowering(2" or more)

If it were my car I would switch out the Sportlines to H&R any day. It depends which H&R's you get, there are .75" - 2.5" drop springs available. I personally don't own an accord, but I do know suspension in & out along with my exep. @ honda and now a shop specializing in Honda repair.

Welcome to AF, btw
