Exhaust Silencer

I bought a 99 V6 Accord and it has dual exhaust that is too loud for me. Does anyone know the easiest way to make it softer. The person I bought it from said something about some kind of cone to put in the exhaust to make it quieter??

the stock exhaust?

If it is loud at all it must be an after market exhaust. I would double check that it has the resonators on it.

To do this just look under the car and along the piping from the engine back to the muffler you should see something that looks like a can or bigger that the exhaust piping runs through... I don't know how to explain the looks...

Any way if you don't have any of these that means the resonator has been removed and it will make the exhaust much louder.
