I just bought my 99 Honda Accord V6!!! :) I took off the aftermarket white overlay gauges that were on the car. I have noticed that the factory gauges must ahve been disabled on purpose so that they wouldn't show through this gauge. Does anyone know were these may have been disabled. I have no dashboard, or shifter lights or anything..
Thanks,
New Honda Owner.

I am no expert on the matter but many of these gage overlays use an invertor to alter the color of the guages If this is the case, that could be yoru problem.
If you took apart the instrumentation to remove the overlay, it is highly probably that one or more of your connections on the guages are not fully connected. There should be 3 of them.
My next assumption and my first spot for troubleshooting would be to check my fuses and make sure you didn't blow a fuse somewhere.
Hope that helps you.
