I'm selling mine. If you don't mind coming to colorado. It's in good shape and I've still got the parts car too.

Why does iy have to be an 88, the brakes are the same on the 87 only the cradle is differnt and the fender wells are in smaller much makes it a bit harder to swap a V-8 in it if you ever would want to as far as the 88 compared to the 85,86 GT's there isn't to much different? Or so I'm told and read.

The 88 has different brakes then every year fiero. 84-87 are all the same, 88 cradle is different, 88 suspention is different, 88 steering is a little different.

88's are alot better then previous years (unless you sink alot of money into them to get rid of bumb steer and such)
the only draw back to 88's are that everything is alot harder to find and more expensive. Its just as easy to swap a v8 into any year fiero

I thought the 87 GT had the vent brakes that were also put on the 88 GT, and the susp, there isn't much of a difference is there?

84s-87s had nonvented brakes aswell as citation derived rear suspention and chevette derived front suspention (rear bad places to start) They have a lot of bump steer, and feel less "positive". Although skid pad and slolom tests have about the same results as the '88s. In 1988 Fieros received bigger vented brakes, and redesigned suspention.

you can put a 88 cradle/suspention/brakes on a 84-87 with just some adapters and coil overs, but then the front suspention is not the same and the only way to convert that is to cut off front ends and weld the full front clip on
