engine swap i want to know if i can do it

ok i have a 1990 eclipse i have a 1.8 liter stock engine in it and i want to upgrade to a 2.0 turbo or a 2.0 and i dont know if it will fit...and i dont want to buy the engine if it wont fit....please let me know if it will fit....ty for taking the time to look

well you would have luck doing a 2.0 swap but it will be alot of work and i would say it is probley best just sell your car and get a GSX or GST that would proble be the best thing for you to do. that way you are making a fast car evon faster

Since it is a 1g, its actually possible. Its been done before. Search the major forums (tooners and talk) for the sites that explain how its done, then decide if its something you're up to doing.
