'03 Jetta warranty question

Hi I'm new to this thread

I have a question about the warranty. I own a 2003 Jetta GLX and its only 4 months old. The damn driverside mirror broke off the housing when I folded it in. I took it back to the dealership/service station and the service manager told me its not covered under warranty because its an external part and that someone probably just broke it off. What kind of customer service is that?...I have every warrranty available, Basic, Bumper to Bumper, PowerTrain, Corrosion.....and they telling me this mirror isn't covered???

Anyone know what I can do?

I'm not paying $350 to fix one mirror off a 4 month old car......

Just wondering if anyone else has had any experiences with warranty issues.
