do you know of any websites that sell them. I went to the parts store and asked for those before but they didnt know which number plug they could get, that was the case with almost all of them, too.
Thanx for your input, its greatly appreciated.

up to 25 psi run the stock plugs, BPR6ES. I still run them. The 7s get dirty fast, and the 6s are causing me any knock even on my setup. Either one is fine though. Get them at the dealer or parts store, dont pay more than 10 bucks for 4 of them. Most DSM sites sell them as well, but you'll have to pay shipping. Never run platinum plugs on a turbo DSM, please.
And more important than which heat range (6 or 7) etc, be ABSOLUTELY SURE to gap them properly. Up to 20 psi run a 028 to 030 gap. Over 20 psi you may need to decrease it slightly. Use only stock or NGK wires, occasionaly Magnacores work well. Use ANY OTHER BREAND AT YOUR OWN RISK. And dont assume just because they are new, they are good. I have seen them cause stuttering right out of the box.
Got a little sidetracked there, but you get the idea... ;)

6 is the stock heat range. 7 is one colder and from what I heard is better to use with turbo. If n/a then go one range hotter - 5s. That is what I run and works great. NAPA part number is 6953 for NGK V-powers.

hey racer, what's wrong with the platinum plugs?

Platinum is fine for making a long lasting plug. But electrically its shyte. The denser the mixture in the combustion chamber (boost) the tougher it is to fire across the gap. Add a shyte conductor of a spark plug, and you get misfires. I cant count how many misfire problems have been cured by tossing the platinum plugs in the barrel and going back to stock. People love to argue this with me, but they stop when changing the plugs cures thier misfire problems ;)

i gapped mine out to 30. im only boosting at 16 with the stock turbo. The only thing is that the plugs didnt help my engine stall problem. Whenever i rev at high rpm then push in the clutch and let off the gas the car either stalls or comes really close to stalling. I dont have crankwalk, i already checked, but i herd that it could be my distributer cap or coil. Have any of you ever had this happen, and if so what fixed it.

I'm also thing boost leak, BOV, ISC motor, etc.
By the way, youre car doesnt have a distributor or dist cap. If it was the coil, you would have ignition problems all the time. I dont think what you decribe is an ingnition problem. More like an air metering problem.

no, i still run my recirculation valve. SInce ive been reading the forums, i think it could be because im running a 255 fuel pump with the stock injectors and no fuel pressure regulator. I thinks thats why the code says Fuel Trim Malfunction. what do you guys think.

That could do it. The ECU will max it self out trying to lean out at idle and cruise and throw that code. It could be other things as well, like a dying O2 sensor, but that 255 is a good possibility.

nope i got both of them still on. I think it is my fuel pressure. I have a 255 fuel pump with the stock injectors, some people say i need a fuel pressure regulator or that once i get larger injectors it should take care of the stalling problem as i stated above.

bigger injectors will make it worse naturally. The only way to fix it is with a reg. Check out www.fullthrottlespeed.com (the guys that make the MAFt), they ahve the cheapest "bolt on" regulator at around 150 if I remember correctly. No reason not to do it. Install a gauge at the same time to set it. Better yet install the gauge first, and post what your fuel pressure is now. Set it with the reg to 43 for 2g, 38 for 1g.
