Just curious, is that Blue Skyline Igor's car... I mean is it drawn after a real skyline that looks like his? I saw Spec2 girls Skyline pic and it looks so very nice. There are some lucky people out there.:disappoin

I'm only lucky because Skylines are so cheap and common over here. If I lived in the States I doubt very much whether I would have one because of the costs involved.

Two things:

1) Look who's talking.


2) The 350Z is basically the same car underneath as the next GT-R, and it's direct blood-brother, the G35, is sold in Japan as a Skyline (http://www.batfa.com/new_car_nissan_skyline.htm). So in a way, he owns the Skyline's cousin :).

No no that GTR is Igors car, however it has some drivability issues since he put some pretty big rims and as you can see in the picture the alignement is a bit off

IM sure she did, but a lot of people out there work and dont own Skylines. Those who work harder do tend to get luckier though.

R32 GTR - 2.6 liter twin turbo 4wd $16,000

R33 GTS25t (spec II) - 2.5 liter turbo 2wd $6,500
R33 GTR Vspec - $19.000

R34 GT-T - $8,500
R34 GTR - $42,000

These would be around about figures based on average current prices.

Yea specII is a skyline nutta, sorta like myself, her husband (moondog), and quite a few others here.

Outside Japan, New Zealand has the highest consintration of them and biggest number roaming the roads.

Back on topic though Iggy's car is sweet looking. I've test drove a brand new 350Z and while it can't compare to my GTR in out right performance. Actually it isn't even in the same hemisphere it does handle quite well. Over all with more performance it would be a nice car to own here. As it were though I would take my little fun toy thanks.

Why don't they sell the Skyline at dealers over here?
Is the 350z they sell here the same 350z they sell over there? If not what's the difference?
The reason I ask is that I have never really considered buying Nissan and I may be looking to add another car to the already crowded garage soon and I want to look at all options.
Maybe I should be asking this in the Nissan forum.

Technically, they do- the Infiniti G35, is the Skyline in Japan, on the new V Chassis. However the R Chassis (32, 33, 34) Skylines had the RB26DETT engines that were unable to meet US Emissions without modification, adding to the fact the Twin Turbo set up on the RB26, dissallowed LHD conversions.


350Z's are all the same, wherever you go. :)
