hehe anyone have pet peeves about male ricers? i'm tired of how girls racers are getting dissed soo.....I hate it when some have loud whiny exhaust and blaring music out of an audio system in need with much tuning, and some think they can pick up any girl just because they have a car and they think their oh so rice car is pimp. Second i hate that some need to race from light to light.....vroom screeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeettch.
(but i admire guys with nice sleepers or sportbikes)

I hate when I go to the track in my P.O.S. beater guys have to be all shitty. I mean ya, I know your car is pretty but can you get off the line? There were guys yelling at me in the grandstands today saying my car sucked. I said "Ya, but who's got the balls to be racing? I don't see your ass down here" Hey you know every track has to have a beater car, at least I do it with style. Its a shitty job, but a funny one when sometimes, I get the trophy and the guys try to get me kicked off the track. Hmmm, I remember one instance when they were the ones kicked off the track for complaining about me because I beat their friend's car.

As for FnF. Yeah, those are the ones who go and buy a car, put a fart can on it and go light to light...slower than my grandma.

Oh, but the best one has to be a local yokel who talks about cars like he knows all about them. Every week he so buying this "awesome ride" and he brags about his car club, which has a rule that the only place to race is at the drag strip, funny, i never see them out there??

I totally agree with a lot of things that were listed up there, but we also gotta keep in mind that some people choose to have a show car rather than a race car so that explains the body kits and the works. Now, the "SPEED RACERS" with body kits and neon underglow kits thinking they're gonna add horsepower.. is way off. lol.

What's with guys pulling up to girls mocking them in their rides? Then once they get beat, they get all butt hurt and start hating on you. Heh, I guess it should be entertaining =).

Another guy pet peeve is that they assume all girls don't know crap about their cars so they sit there and boast about themselves. A few months ago, when I was gettin off work at the mall, these guys were parked next to my b20vtec and were saying how it must be a stock gsr with "gay ass girlie shit inside and i bet she doesn't know what an intake is hahahaha" so I get out there and start talking to them and they were tellin me how their car is smokin fast with ls/vtec in his EK pushing 26psi on his built motor...AND 12:1 compression. Now, tell me when his motor is gonna blow? Exactly, I call it B.S.

And last but not least, not all highschool "punks" use mommy and daddy's money to buy car stuff; I purposely rather not have them try to help me because they'll use it against me in the long run. lol.

You have a point. I understand that some people would love to show there cars. And as you say, those are the ones to be respected, I've seen some killer show cars.

My point on mommy and daddy's money was semi-biased based on quite a few folks rolling around in my area. You making a point not to do that is a wonderful choice and I respect that. Besides that, its an "I did it myself" kind of pride that your rolling in now, I don't think there is anything much sweeter than that.

My ride is most surely mockable material for the moment, but she's all I've got and gets me to point A and B always. Personality :)

Its more likely a mixture of them thinking you cant drive AND you dont know jack about cars. a bunch of us were kickin it at cyberglobe. i was in the parking lot with my male friend in my car. i just had new yokohama tires put on and my friend and i were discussing if i should get b20/vtec. then this short dambass kid from our college drives next to me in his hyundai with his girl in the passenger seat. i dunno hyundais but it wasnt a tiburon. it was automatic and he's shouting lets race! and im staring at him cuz he wants to race my gsr wit his full sized sedan economy hyundai. he thought he had a chance just cuz im a female driver. but i tol him to get lost cuz it wasnt worth my gas or burning out my new tires, unless he wanted to bet $3Bills. and he didnt have the money or the guts.

Personally... I try not to disrespect women in general, I think the comments in here are for the most part true.

Every now and then I tend to act as you ladies have so kindly put it through out these posts, but what stems it for me is when I see some girl in her civic or accord or vw or over sized suv taking off at lights like she is trying to show every one how cool her car is. Or else she is weaving in and out of traffic with her windows down dancing to music or staying in the fast lane when she doesn't belong there... This is why we sometimes act like idiots... it stems from careless driving on your behalf. Or when a female friend of mine tries to tell me her stock 325 has 290bhp???? But I think the same can be said that guys do these same things.

I agree. I used to let my xg/f drive my JDM h22 swap in my lude, and guys would grill her like F*ck, then they'd be pretty pissed when they'd get spanked bekuz a girls knows how to drive a stick and not just ride it. I respect girls that have nice cars like lude said, and if they're faster than mine, more power to u. I love the thugged out kids with civics with exhaust and systems, that run 17's...save the spray for the ride home. :smokin:

Well Maybe I shouldn't be posting in here because right now I drive a bone stock beater. Most of my races are on the track the cheesy way, bracket racing, but I feel like Ive done some good because my beater car has won two trophies in three months with me behind the wheel.

But that is because I am finally in a position where some people are helping me learn more about the mechanics of the car rather than wanting me to wax it for them and look cute in the passenger seat. I tried to learn myself but none of my family is mechanically inclined and it was really difficult.

Now that I have a small bit of knowledge all I need now is a bit of money to make the improvements that I want on my vehicle. Yeah its a slow accord but its all ive got and im on a budget.

As for guys being assholes, yeah they're like that at the track all the time, but whoever said it was a stereotype was right. there are a few girls i know that are just complete bitches because they know everything and stand on a pedestal while the rest just lick their toes, my ass. its a shitty deal all the way around and you just gotta find the right people to hang around.

In the end, assholes and bitches are going to be everywhere, just ignore them and keep rollin and havin fun. Because in the end, thats what life is about, otherwise, it would be pretty damn boring up in here am i right?

the thing i hate most about riceboys is when you look at their car in awe on their retardness in style, but they think you're looking at their car because it's tight, then they think they're the shit. What my friend's do somethings is point and laugh, or yell out "RICEBOY!" I like rice.... I will run any riced car that thinks they have a chance. Its fun to put it down to like qtr. throttle and just keep up and watch them. Have anyof you guys accually done that? They have this serouis look on their face and they are jammin gears so hard, bouncing off the rev limiters. They got the subs just cranked up so loud. :rofl: It's so funny. It's even better when yu reach the halfway point and just floor it, spoolup, and just beat the piss out of them by 10+ carlengths..... You should try it it's fun!! A N/A 4 banger isn't even in the same class as a turbocharged 6 cylinder. Beating one of them is really nothing to brag about... now if you're not referring to the entire 4 cylinder population when you say "rice," and you're actually referring to what we would all generally consider 'rice,' then good job man, smoking one of them is something to be proud of, in a different kind of way- if you know what i mean. :smile:

I was not braggin at all bout beating them. Its just funny to see them show up and start crap with people, I'm not talking about the 4 banger crowed, just ones that think a set of neon light will make them fast. I happen to be guy, who happens to be surfin the chick forum, who happends to own a 88 honda prelude Si, but its stock. I like to race, but in a few years I'll have a 454 El Camino, pusing a modern day feul injected engine and a vette 6 speed. hopefully making around 500 hp, then I'll wipe all you ricers out!

But I do think its hot when girls drive stick shifts, and i think its hotter when girls drive muscle cars. Especially if they are sleepers.

actualy, i love ricers, they provide endless entertainment. i had fun in my first car, 1977 oldsmobile delta 88, mint green four door land yaght, but it had a mild chevy 350 in it. i loved being side by side with some guy in his fart can prelude, girl sittin next to him, make eyecontact and start laughing, then when he tried to take off, id smoke him, in my grandma mobile, psycological castration, aint it grand :) i dont street race, dont want the death of a family in a minivan on my chest for the rest of my life, but stoplight to stoplight stuff is still fun. as far as girls having to proove themselves, hell, i race girls to get their attention, to play around and have a good time, not to test them. to me its all in good fun, and IMO there arent enough now, nor will there ever be, enough girl racers :)
