Ok i read your article on suspension and decided to go with the Ground Controls and noticed you said use non adjustable shocks/struts with the coil-overs. and you said no KYB agx's ok well how about the GR2's or the Tokico HP's? If not what else would you reccomend around that price range?
Thanks again

If I did say that, it was a typo. The NA shocks are typically too weak to handle the springs one would use with coilovers. You should be looking for adjustable coilovers. Check it out again and if I screwed up post the link here and I'll fix it :)
With that in mind, let me know if you are still undecided on the shocks.

im not to good with computers so im not sure how to post it. but it was in the big story you wrote referring to suspension. Ok so would you reccoment the GC wit tokico hp or illumia struts? If not what other choices do i have that are resonable price. Remember i have a spyder and im not gonna be racing i just want a low and kinda smooth ride

I'll be happy to go through it with you, specific to your case. Lets start with the info we need to make any sound decision. What is the car (year, awd/fwd, weight reduction if any, etc) and what are its intended goals. What type of racing. How important is the suspension for you and your goals. What is your budget, or is it on an as-needed basis. Get back to me with this, and we can start to work through the options.

Ok its a 99 GS-T spyder 5speed im running 215/40/18s Its a daily driver i may try it at the track once or twice just to see the difference between stock as is, and when i install a intake and full exhaust and a few other small mods nothing major. Im never gonna autocross or nothing like that. I would like the car to sit right at the top of my tires and still get the best ride as possible. I understand ill have to suffer some for going that low. Basically i just want a nice looking daily driver with a little bit of balls. YA FEEL ME Thanks for any info you can feed me with before i drop all this loot on something thats not gonna work right Im looking to spend around 1000 for a package if possible if i could save some thatd be fine with me. Just more towards something else
Thanks
Andy

You could go with a similar setup to mine, perhaps a little lighter on the rear spring. Illuminas with GCs, 450 pounds front, 300 rear. With the necessary upper mounts (to go as low as you say you want to) its 1050. For a bit more you can also get into the lower model Tien type setups. But I dont have any personal experience with those. Perhaps someone else can offer some advice on those. They are about the same price which is why I bring it up. Just be absolutely sure the rates make sense. Looking at what they come with I wouldnt be happy. I would have to spec my own rates. Either option will certainly serve your purpose. I have been happy with my setup (GC/Illumina, 450/325) for years, wether on the street, dragstrip, or circle track.
