I'm sorry if this is a little off topic for this forum, but I'd appreciate some help. I'm going to be out of school in the near future and will have some money, with which I plan on purchasing a newer model car. I'm interested in a four door type that's newer than 02 and which I'll be able to soop up. I've been doing some research but I'd prefer some opinions now for what you think is the most reasonbly priced, soopupable, fast, and reliable.

Thanks

there are many cars fitting your criteria so a price range will help

Sorry about that, I'm a little distracted right now. The price range would be in the 20-30k range so I've been considering everything from Subarus to Toyotas to Hondas to whatever. One more item: I'm fairly tall (6'5") and need a car I can fit in. I've been in accords and like them decently for spaciousness. Thanks!

if you want upgradability and performance in that range there are quite a few cars.

cheap performance srt4(20k new), or for a bit more an WRX,

closer to 30k you can get an evo or an sti.

all those are 4 doors and very fast

Here is a list i can come up with...but in no particular order.

1. Lexus IS300 (dont know about upgrading it though)
2. Honda Accord (May have more aftermarket parts in the future)
3. Subaru STI (Its already fast, but can be made faster)
4. Mitsubishi Evolution (Its already fast just like the STI)
5. SRT4 (Good bang for the buck)
6. BMW 3 series (There are some BMW's that are within that price range...not too sure about making it fast though)
7. Audi (Not too familiar but some may fit that price range)
8. Mercedes (Also not too familiar about that but some fit that price range)

#'s 6, 7, 8 are more of luxury than sport sedans but would be a choice for me given the price range.

Yea I'd say Evo or STi...4 doors, plenty of room for the tall in the Evo at least...and in your price range
