Yes, the all new improved version, this time around it's basically the five worst cars in existance, of all time, ACCORDING TO YOU
Here is m top 5
5.Lada Samara- A wannabe modern car from the ailing Russian maker, at least it was almost a 1960's car.
4.Ford Crown Victoria/Mercury Grand Marquis/Marauder- Dates back to the 1970's- that's reason enough, not particuarly good looking (Understement) and only survives as a Taxi or Cop Car for the Yanks. Add to that it handles like poo and should be institutionalised
3.Trabant err......A two stroke motor, put in a screwy little car, basically a little ship of horrors from Cold War East Germany, nuff said really
2.Nissan Serena A tall ugly minivan- it's unsafe, it's uncomfortable, it tips over, it's slow- basically the worst car of the 90's easily- I want to burn every last example of it.
1.Cadillac Cimarron This is truly 'nuff said- a crappy Chevy with Cadillac badges for a HUGE amount more than its already unremarkable sister-car.
Fire away people :)

What he said...
Plus where there are several in my country of origin...there are car based pick-ups/small truck or pick-ups/small truck based cars. Ugly as hell.
and finally the Honda Element, PT Cruiser and Scion. That makes 5.
Just my :2cents:

The Trabant isn't that bad, at least not compared to these monsters...
5: Ford Excursion, a waste of natural resources and space.
4: "Hummer" H2, styled after a brick, but less useful.
3: AMC Gremlin, smaller than today's compacts, yet can't go over 18mpg.
2: Ford Pinto, like the Gremlin, but exploding.
1: Porsche Cayenne. Looks like an obese, bloated, beached, dead Porsche, costs too much, unreliable, over praised, etc.

FIAT Multiplas are some awesome riding cars, the driving experience can match the best FWD Chassis' out there and it has quite a bit of purpsoe.
I'll forgive it's looks on that basis.
2stroke- Another nice list, 'cept the Cayenne, it's an awesome vehicle- I'll replace it with an Escalade- with all the above reasons for the Cayenne- except replace the looks with "Apartment building on wheels"

The Ford Pinto takes 1st place with being the worlds biggest hunk of shit. The designer of the car should be sent to the gallows. What a shame to the world of autos.
The Element takes 2nd place.I bring you,the worlds ugliest vehicle.Another pile of garbage.
As much as I like Caddys,I must say the Cimarron lays the smack down at the number three spot.Like Jim said,it's a Cavilier with Caddy badges.Absolute crap and waste of time and money.
Number four would have to be the Pontiac Aztec.Pontiac went way overboard with this car.Good idea with the cross over and tent in the back thing, not junk either but ass ugly.
And last but not least, the Porsche Cayenne. Not junk but not Porsche either. They should have stuck to sport coupes.Thats what they were awsome at.Porsche and SUV just don't mix in my oppinion. Not to mention that the front end looks way too out of place.Just not Porsche.

I sort of took looks out of the equasion for my list, so there are a few popular choices that have some redeeming engineering quality that are horrifically ugly (Aztec, Scion, Element, Trabant, Echo). Not to say that they are good, just better than what I put on my list.
5. Yugo: At $3995 new in the mid-80's, this is definitely a case of you get what you pay for.
4. Lada: The best thing that can be said about it is that it was the most popular car in Russia for a long time.
3. Suzuki Sidekick: Tend to roll over when cornering too hard, in crosswinds, or if leaned on in the wrong place.
2. Cadillac Cimmaron: The leftover parts bin from GM in the early 80's was not a good design premise for a car.
1. Ford Pinto: Good for bonfires and fireworks displays, but that's about it. I actually was following one on the road a few months ago, and made sure to give myself significantly more stopping distance than normal.

How on Earth did the Boxster tarnish the Porsche name???? It is fast, agile, reliable, useable, has the most amazing ever handling (Or so everybody tells me) and a proper sports car set up (MR) So how did it tarnish the Porsche name??? The Cayenne did that.
Anyway, my crap cars are...............
5. Toyota's- With the exception of the MR2, Echo/Yaris, Avensis, Supra and Lexus range- The most boring dozy anonymous cars on the road. The most reliable cars in existance- but literally Automotive whiteware. I'd castrate myself before being boring enough to drive one. The Japanese market-only ones are easily the worst. Mind you the WiLL VS is kinda groovy.
4. Nissan Serena- Needs a match taken to it, no strengths, what so ever.
3. Nissan Skyline. The exceptions are the GTR and RB25-powered models. The RB20 is the most unbelievably crap motor in the world, I can ass ride R32 GTS's up the hills very easily in a 2.0 4 cylinder Skoda or sometimes in my 1.5 Civic. They handle like a turd when stock and the steering is unbelievably wooden. Oh and the interior is unbelievably cramped. Even in the 4 door. EXTREMELY OVERATED
2. Old square Ladas- Be careful not to snap the wheels off when cornering it.
1. Ford EA Falcon and Holden VN Commodore- tied for first. Both were piles of dog shit. Likely to kill you, or your wallet.

the cayenne did that as well, but the boxster came out first, so i chose that one. to me, porsche stands for fast, expensive, quality, but most importantly, performance driven. the boxster however, is none of these. handling is decent, but far from amazing (or so everybody tells me), its definitely not fast, not expensive, and is definitely not performance driven. when you compare it to other roadsters like the miata, it may seem like a good car, but compared to the rest of the porsche lineup, its basically shit. in the wise words of the gas station manager from Initial D "its like comparing chocolate to shit". lol, i always wanted to use that line.

Having driven both a Porsche 914 and a 924, and even for their day, the only thing either of them had going for it was that the 914 was a good handling car for the time. Build quality on both were not particularly good. The only reason either of these cars ever existed was because Porsche wanted an entry-level model. Compared to these cars, the Boxster is a huge step up compared to the other entry cars Porsche was selling at the time.

Don't know if any of you have heard of it but the ugliest car has to be a premier padmini. I think theres one in one of punjabi mc's video clips. lets just say its a bloody ugly car. Also, pretty much any Lada i've ever seen has been disgusting. The new Ford Ka, well I don't know what the hell ford executives were smokin the day they agreed to that ugly design. Here we go, I found a picture of a padmini. check it out.

Jeez, you folks like to complain a lot.
Whether a car is good or bad depends on what you do with it.
Hondas are terrific transportation appliances, and are great for people who want a new really good car but have no real automotive enthusiam.
Turning them into a GT car begs for them to be called a piece of shit.
The mondo sized SUV's are great for....towing big loads and lots of people in crappy weather. They are at their best working hard for a living. Turning them into a mom mobile to take the kids to the mall turns it into a piece of shit.
You think your sporty little car is not a piece of shit? Use it to tow a boat to the lake. Then its a piece of shit.
What you folks need to do is own about 6 cars all of different types to suit the need Then, NONE are pieces of shit.

For all you people who call mucsle cars crap kiss my a**. What are they to fast for you.
too fast? hardly. unless your a redneck that constantly races in a straight line, yes muscles cars suck. most people that drive cars like to actually make use of something called a steering wheel. the cornering abilities of a muscle car are fucking pathetic at best. thats why people are getting imports. they can turn. but i do agree with you about the tasteless body kits and such.

Hey dumb ass have you ever ridden in one muscle car. Lets see rx-7 and rx-8 sucks. too bad motor trend rates them in the 14 and high 13s. That to me sucks. Yeah they can steer but my transam can take a turn with no problem. Now older muscle cars yes they can't but they are fast. Newer muscle cars can takeany turns . Now if you are talking about mustangs not being fast you are correct. But most muscle cars are in mid to low 13's. You call that slow. Don't be stupid. Try putting that in the muscle car section forum. You don't know jack shit about cars.

Back on topic now, chevydrummer, you have to admit though, if those SRT-4's can be built up to beat Vipers, they aren't too bad.

5. Any of the Wankel engined cars, (ie RX series) Wannabe Z, have power but horrific reliability, eat gas, a bitch to smog....etc.
4. Mustang 2's, because they were worse than pintos... at least a pinto didn't pretend to be a performance oriented car. That series of 'phony pony' exploded on a dime too, my friends '78 caught fire once.
3. The older VW beetle. Yes it's reliable, but it became a Hippie icon, which is an automatic death sentence to any cars image, also it sounds worse than a lawnmower... or a honda with a shitty exhaust tip.
2. The Honda element. Not because of reliability issues, or even because of it's lame assed 'new age' image, but because it completely and TOTALLY lacks any taste or imagination. This is what happens when Japanese don't copy another cars design.
1. Tie between the Scion Xb and the Asstec. I shouldn't have to explain the Asstec, cause damn... The Toyota however, I hate because it's a lame assed attempt to revamp an extremely boring line up of cars and appeal to 'the younger crowd', of which there are unfortunately plenty of morons in who would actually pay for a box with wheels and windows.

hate wankel's??? waaah, huh, how, why, aldhlfhaaldh, cant, stop, hyperventalating, system, overload.
ok, seriously though, whats to hate about an RX-7. rotary engines are amazing. unbelievable power to weight ratio, VERY reliable. they're only unreliable if you take shit care of your car. a properly taken care of rotary engine will outlast many piston engines. and guzzles gas, who cares? small price to pay for the power. and hardly a wannabe Z. it outperforms the Z in every way.

hate wankel's??? waaah, huh, how, why, aldhlfhaaldh, cant, stop, hyperventalating, system, overload.
ok, seriously though, whats to hate about an RX-7. rotary engines are amazing. unbelievable power to weight ratio, VERY reliable. they're only unreliable if you take shit care of your car. a properly taken care of rotary engine will outlast many piston engines. and guzzles gas, who cares? small price to pay for the power. and hardly a wannabe Z. it outperforms the Z in every way.
Gee, now you know what my reaction was whey you said muscle cars are shit. Who cares about their wrongs, they're fun to drive, thats the point...

Wow this thread has gone really OT, as they always do, either way:
1. Aztek
2. Scion Xb
3. Honda Element
4. DSM's
5. FF Econobox's attempting to be sports cars.
(If it could be longer i'd put in the Boxter and Cayenne)

hmm...some pretty decent cars getting a floggin here..each to their own i suppose
1. Mercedes 190E. Words cannot describe how ovverrated this car is, Every 17-year old wannabe gangster thinks it his duty to buy one of those shitters and slam it on 18" chromes. They are primitive cars - slow as fuck, uncomfortable interior with zero features, handle like a Hiace van (except the Hiace van is faster)
2. BMW E30. See #1, with a different badge. the 325 is actually (sorta) quick, for an 80's car anyway.
3. Toyota Trueno/Levin AE101 20-valve aka "its got 160hp man...honest...":iceslolan :grinno: Cant forget the (drumroll) SUPER STRUT SUSPENSION.:uhoh: Its a fucking 2 door Corolla people, the 20 valves dont do anything, and that B18C integra you "smoked" didnt know you were racing it.
4. Honda CR-V. I've heard someone actually took one of these off-road once.:screwy::lol:
5. Nissan Laurel Diesel (i dont really need to explain this one do I?)
