i need help pickin out a set of strut bars....couple of questions tho...
do i need both front and back or is front sufficient for starters?
what are some good brands to go with? i've found a few diff kinds on the net but they all have diff mounting styles and i dont really know which one would work best and is more dependable and such.........
ive got a 99 GS so if anyone could help me out with at least some info that would be grrreeaaaat!

Yes you can go with just a front or rear strut brace if you want. Also have a look at local venders and see what they offer. Most strut bars are very similar.

Fronts are nearly useless on a 2g. 1) 2Gs dont even use a strut type suspension (in the sense of using the strut as the upper control arm) so there is nothing to brace. 2) the firewall is 6" behind the shock towers, which is a much more effective brace than a piece of 3/4" steel tubing. With all the work I do on my car, I would never use one anyway.
Now a rear brace will be much more beneficial since there is little to no useful bracing in the rear. ;) So I would go rear if you only get one.
